ERT at 2023 Multi-State Salinity Coalition Summit
Terry Gong, Principal, presented a poster on Emulating Nature to Save the Salton Sea at the 2023 Multi-State Salinity Coalition Summit held February 22-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This poster illustrates the neutralizing process of releasing new water from bicarbonates to adjust alkaline lake levels and prevent toxic dust contamination. Similar technology has been used in agriculture for soil and crop adjustment for seventy years. This technology provides a viable solution to preserve the delicate salinity balance of inland sea ecosystems such as the Salton Sea and the Great Salt Lake.
We specialize in:
Superior Dechlorination
Are harmful salts a pain point? Unlike other dechlorination methods, ERT's on-site generation of sulfurous acid avoids the need for hazardous sodium bisulfite storage and handling. Its unique process does not introduce sodium into the treated waste stream, avoiding the detrimental effects of added monovalent salts into the environment. In most cases, ERT's dechlorination application is less expensive than the cost of dechlorination using sodium bisulfite.

Better Biosolids
Expand capacity, reduce weight haulage costs, eliminate aerobic digestion, and allow for the flexibility to customize the disposal of heavy metals and phosphates. ERT's biosolids treatment enhances your entire process, from improving influent quality to producing dried Class A biosolids.
